This workshop explored gender-sensitive leadership styles and offered techniques on how to capitalize on the differences found between men and women in the workforce. Women’s leadership experts addressed obstacles women face in their careers and methods for overcoming them, and examined the contributions of women in American history and government. Liswood led a session titled “Lessons from Female World Leaders,” in which she spoke about the skills and attributes that women bring to organizations and government, and why these traits are essential to the success of any enterprise.
